9 times out of 10 if you’re on the internet there’s a pretty good chance that you have a Facebook account.

I’d take a guess that you probably also spend at least 1-3 hours per week (or per day) on there too. If not more.

That’s the reason that I chose to deactivate my Facebook account for a little while. I feel a little hypocritical because not too long ago I made a post making fun of people who deactivate their accounts every 2 weeks.

After further deliberation, I finally understand why people do it.

Most people have Facebook on their phones, on their tablet devices, and they use it on their computers. Most people even have Facebook on their mind when they aren’t on it.

It’s pretty safe to say that Facebook is highly addictive, and for many it’s become a routine part of their day.

And if you’re not using paid advertising or hounding people inside of their inbox everyday to make sales in your business then Facebook is really nothing more than a huge time suck.

Facebook can make you a lot of money if you use it the right way. But it’s distracting. Many times I’d get on there to do something and next thing you know I’ve been scrolling the newsfeed for the last 45 minutes.

Now if your sole motivation is to be entertained, then it’s the place to be. But, if you’re an entrepreneur or someone who values their time, then you might want to entertain the thought of taking a sabbatical from Facebook at some point.

I’m currently focusing all of my attention on how to make 6 figures in 2015.

So at the end of the day, you can spend half of your day watching the newsfeed on Facebook like most people do, or you can join me and learn how to take control of your financial future.

So what’s it gonna be?

Yes, I want to change my financial future.

or

No, I’d rather spend my valuable time on Facebook.
