Okay, so if you are into personal development, home business, or simply looking to become a better person it is important to have the correct mental mindset. I can’t stress enough the importance of how we think determines what we manifest in our lives.
Now being successful requires that we take accountability as well as responsibility for ourselves. Most people in today’s society have a restaurant mentality, they want to see their goals and dreams come true and pay the price after the fact.
Many people refer to this as the lottery mentality, wanting something for nothing, and believing that they don’t have to pay the price to be successful. For this reason, only 20% of society makes 80% of all the money. This is in no way a coincidence, to many this is known as the Pareto Principle.
There are tons of people in the world who ‘wish’ that they could accomplish their goals and dreams but have no plan whatsoever to get them accomplished. If you plan on having what you wish for in life it’s imperative that you get the buffet mindset instead of the restaurant mindset.
A restaurant typically allows you to come in, eat your meal, and after you’ve had your way only then do you have to pay. Whereas with a buffet, you come in and you are required to pay the cost of your meal before you even think about having a single bite of anything.
This is the mindset that is required if you truly desire to be successful in life. You MUST be willing to pay the price up front, before you can ever intend to reap the rewards of a successful life. Sowing always comes before reaping, just like the only place that success comes before work is in the dictionary.
To take control of our lives we have to be willing to do what most people will not do to have what most people do not have. So take action, refuse to have the lottery mentality, and decide here and now that you are going to pay the price to get whatever it is you want in life.
