If you believe you’re a big thinker but you’re just not getting the results that you want, it just means you need to think even bigger!
Let’s Draw A Line In The Sand
There comes a time in our lives where at some point we begin to deal with the inevitability that we will eventually be dead soon.
There’s really only two types of people in the world when you think about it.
- Those that accept things the way they are and believe that THEY have no control
- Those that refuse to accept things the way they are and believe THEY are in TOTAL CONTROL
Which one are you?
At some point you have to burn the bridges behind you and draw a line in the sand and say, “Hey, I know I’m worth more than this… it’s time to take some fucking action!”
Kick Your Hustle Up Another Notch!
In this day and age everyone has a side-hustle.
Whether it’s delivering food for DoorDash or UberEats, ride-sharing for Uber or Lyft, or selling e-Commerce on the internet. There’s plenty of hustles out there for ya, but you’ve gotta get off your ass!
No matter what your hustle, you’re gonna have to kick it up a notch.
But let’s be sensible here…
You can only MAXIMIZE a side-hustle when it has no income ceiling.
It’s just not possible to make say $20,000 a month driving for Uber. Likewise it’s virtually impossible for the average employee to earn $20,000 a month working a corporate job.
So what you’re going to have to do is learn how to utilize hustles that have leverage (like the internet).
There’s No Limit To What You Can Accomplish
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to making money, I prefer NO INCOME CEILINGS.
Meaning, I can’t go to work and earn an unlimited income because I only earn for the hours that I am actively working.
But on the internet there is no limit to what you can create. You can even make money in your sleep!
The question is how do you get people’s attention online in order to make the money?
Become a Student and a Master of Traffic Generation
No matter what you sell online, you first need to know how to generate “traffic” (i.e. eyeballs, viewers, interest) to your website.
Next up – you need leads!
Lots and lots of leads…
The more leads you can generate on a daily basis the greater chance you have of generating a sale for your business.
If you offer work from home/make money online type business opportunities then a good place to start is to buy guaranteed visitors to your website.
Or, if you’re more of a DIY (do it yourself) type like I am, you might consider investing into some software like Ringless Voicemail or even better yet Text Blasting Software.
Stop Wasting Money On Dumb Shit
I’ve been online long enough to have become a millionaire many times over by now. Shit, to tell the truth, I’ve watched several people who came online many years AFTER I did that have gone on to earn in excess of one million dollars online.
So what’s my excuse?
I wasted money on dumb shit!
Instead of investing in traffic, I preferred to invest in fast food and other stupid things that don’t give you a return on investment.
Instead of using paid traffic (the most consistent) I chose to focus on free traffic methods (the least consistent) to get people’s eyeballs on my websites.
Then when I would make a nice sized sale (say $3,000 for example), since I wasn’t working at the time, I’d have to use my PROFITS to pay household expenses and other dumb shit that doesn’t make your BUSINESS grow.
You MUST reinvest at least 20-40% of your PROFITS back into your BUSINESS.
Otherwise, you’ll be stuck on a hamster wheel and wondering why you’re not getting ahead while you watch others run circles around you online.
Don’t Quit Your Day Job!
Now this is from my own personal experience. Back in 2013 my manager at Red Robin pissed me off so bad that I threw something at him and got fired.
Technically, I quit… because I knew the moment the shit left my hand that I wouldn’t have a job anymore. But I just didn’t give a damn… I had drawn my line in the sand!
In all seriousness, I don’t recommend you quitting your job too soon once you figure this internet shit out and start making money.
You have to take into account several different things like:
- Will my company/program go out of business
- What if my traffic source dries up
- Can I afford to purchase traffic CONSISTENTLY on top of my household expenses
- Is my spouse/partner supportive
- Am I keeping accurate track of my taxes/write-offs
…and many more questions that need to be taken into account.
Here are several pieces of advice that I would give anyone who is looking to transition from a part-time online marketer to full-time.
- Have a MINIMUM of 12 months living expenses saved up (preferably 24-36 months)
- Use 50-100% of your profits to REINVEST back into MORE TRAFFIC (at first)
- Lose all aversion to risk taking if you expect to be successful
- Remove yourself from any and all negative/non-supportive people
- Make mistakes on your own – don’t waste hours and hours “studying”
- Focus on one opportunity or marketing system until you are getting outstanding results before you decide to add anything new to your plate
In Summary…
You are your greatest threat when it comes to getting what you want out of life.
Until you make the decision to GO BIG you will continue to play small.
There is no shortage of opportunity out there, only a shortage of people willing to search for it. So if you haven’t found the opportunity for you as of yet, don’t give up!
Buying guaranteed visitors is great in the beginning, but your end goal should be to learn how to generate 80% of your traffic on your own by using the software I mentioned above as well as PPC traffic.
It’s best to have a good MIX of traffic, never rely solely upon any single source.
Share your results, even if you’re only getting 5 leads per day – that makes you an expert to the person only getting 1-4.
Stay CONSISTENT with buying traffic.
Do these things and I believe you will do well.
