I wanted to give everybody a quick lesson on the different forms of income that can be created working your own home business.
There’s plenty of different methods to make money if you keep your eyes open. Outside of the methods to make money, there’s also several methods of getting paid – and that’s what I wanna discuss with you here today.
Straight Commission
The first way to get paid is straight commission. This would be like a sales position, similar to the guy that goes door to door and sells meat and stuff like that…lol.
Whenever he makes a sale he gets paid a commission. Now in the online world one of the most popular methods of straight commission is affiliate sales. Affiliate Marketing is a popular way of making money online but it does not necessarily offer a lot of leverage.
If you don’t know what an affiliate marketer does, they basically sell other people’s products and earn a commission every time they generate a sale. In essence, they’re being paid a finders fee.
There are literally MILLIONS of affiliate programs out there and virtually anyone is already pre-qualified to become an affiliate by just scrolling to the bottom of most websites and clicking on the link that says something about “affiliates”.

Big Ticket Commissions
Now big ticket commissions are actually in essence the same thing as straight commissions. The only thing is that the typical straight commission sale is usually not enough to pay your bills for an entire month, where a big ticket sale has the potential to cover all of your monthly bills and then some for an entire 30 days.

The key to earning a steady flow of big ticket commissions is to find a company that provides VALUE to it’s members. If you join a big ticket program that does not actually provide value to it’s members then what you’ve actually done is gotten yourself involved in a cash gifting program.
Cash gifting is frowned upon and has the potential to ruin your reputation as well as your credibility so I would actually do my best to avoid any big ticket program out there that does not have actual products/services available.
Residual Income
Now any form of income is nice, but no other form of income ranks up there with residual income for several reasons. The first of which, is the fact that we all have residual bills don’t we?
What I mean is that you have bills that are guaranteed to come every month no matter what. So why wouldn’t you also want to have a source of income that was guaranteed to come in month after month no matter what? Including when you are NOT working.
You’d actually be surprised to know that a large majority of society really has no idea what residual income is – and most importantly how to get some.
The simplest way to explain the concept of residual income is to explain an actor. Their show can be off the air for years but they continue to earn residual income on the re-runs. A prime example of this is the Jerry Seinfeld show.
The Jerry Seinfeld show has been off of the air for many many years but the re-runs have been playing for as long as you and I can remember. Jerry Seinfeld has earned close to a billion dollars in residual income from the Seinfeld show all while it has been OFF THE AIR.
Now that is one serious residual income!
Other forms of residual income
Rental property, musicians, book sales, etc. All of those are ways in which residual income can be earned. Unfortunately, the average person simply does not have the capital or the means to get involved in any of those.
Lucky for you there is always network marketing! I’m not going to sit here and give you a full out dissertation on network marketing but long story short it’s like this – Network Marketing allows you to start your own organization and you start off at the top.
You simply recruit others who have the desire to earn an unlimited income and the desire to create a better life for their families and then as your team continues to grow so does your income.
