Over the last few years with the coming of gig jobs like Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, and many more – we’ve entered the “gig economy.”
This is hands down my favorite side-hustle of all because of the guaranteed earnings. It’s what sets Amazon Flex apart from the rest of these types of gigs.
What is Amazon Flex?
Amazon Flex is an independent contractor position that allows you to deliver items for Amazon in your own vehicle.
When I first started I was delivering mainly for restaurants but they eventually discontinued that portion.
Nowadays, whenever I deliver Flex I most of the time just take packages to people’s homes, just like UPS or FedEx.
You also have the opportunity to deliver Amazon Fresh (groceries) and also for Whole Foods. Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods deliver are separate.
How to Make Money With Amazon Flex
Getting paid with Amazon Flex is as simple as sign up for a block and show up to work.
The cool thing is that if the workload is light or they may even be out of work altogether, you’ll still get paid. This has happened to me numerous times.
Just this month alone I’ve probably been paid for delivering just a few boxes or even no boxes at all about 5 or 6 times. All 3 hour shifts, earning $54 each time.
When you login to the app you have to click on “offers” and look for anything that may be available for that day or the upcoming week.
How to Sign Up With Amazon Flex
Signing up for Amazon Flex is simple and easy.
Simply visit http://flex.amazon.com from your smartphone, download the app, and complete the enrollment process.

Final Thoughts
While I love Flex, it, just like a job, is just linear income. Linear income just means that if you’re not working you’re not making any money.
Wealthy people focus on passive income.
Which is why I also have an opportunity in place for those who are looking to earn money even while they sleep.
It’s not get rich quick and it’s not easy, but if you put in the time and effort it’ll be worth it in the long run.
