3 Ways to Get People To Take Action in Your MLM Business
1. If you want to get people to take action in your MLM Business you first have to become a master at creating value for your prospects and your team members. What I mean is that you have to create value for them to take action. If you are trying to get new reps into your business it would do you well to remember that people only move when they see value.
Therefore, if you want to get people on a conference call, webinar, or to a meeting at your home, you need to become a master at conveying the benefits for them actually taking a look. Telling someone that by simply taking a look at what you have to offer will give them an opportunity to change their lives for the better forever is a pretty strong benefit – if you convey the message in the right way.
2. Building off of number one, an awesome way to get people to take action is by generating curiosity. Curiosity is the very thing that moves people. Whatever it is that someone wants to know they should have to go to your presentation – conference call, webinar, hotel meeting, home meeting etc. If your prospect has questions DO NOT ANSWER them. Just tell them where they can go (your presentation) to get the information they desire to have.
3. Learn to create a fear of loss. People are motivated by one of two things – the pleasure they seek, or the pain they want to avoid. Of the two, pain is a much stronger motivator. If you can cause an individual to fear what they are going to miss or lose you can create pain. If you tell a person to be at a meeting by 9:45 because after 10:00 they can’t get in… they’ll associate pain to losing it. This is the same thing if you are doing a 3-way call with your upline. If you tell prospects that your upline is extremely busy and that they are very lucky to have gotten 5 minutes of his or her time they will listen more closely to what he or she has to say.
Ultimately you must get good at Taking Away whatever it is that somebody wants. You have to tell people that this event has never happened before and may never happen again and missing this event could cost them thousands and perhaps even millions of dollars.
By implementing these 3 strategies alone you will start to see a big difference in your recruiting numbers and the amount of people who are actually showing up for your presentations. These same strategies can also be applied towards getting your team members to attend events.
