A Little About Me…
Hello there…
My name is Rhandell Mitchell and I live in Columbus, Ohio. I want to tell you all a little bit about my history, where I come from, and where I’m going.
I was originally born and raised in a small town here in Ohio west of Cleveland called Sandusky. If you are an amusement park buff then you’ve probably heard of Cedar Point…. That’s where Cedar Point is.
All through school I got above average grades, up until around the time that I decided to start hanging around with the wrong people. By the time I got to high school my grades had began dropping and I was into “other things” which ultimately led me to dropping out of school.
So in an effort to “redeem” myself, in what would have been my junior year in high school I decided to get my GED. I passed the GED test with flying colors and was off to start college 1 year earlier than my graduating class. (I was excited!)
So now that I had a year over all of my classmates I really thought I was somebody! I went off to a local business college only to realize that I had not taken the time to truly think through what was best for me and what I was passionate about.
Since then I have gone to several colleges only to realize that my passion just wasn’t in it. Then one day I got on the internet for the first time. It used to be just for fun until one day I got really curious about how to make money online and typed that term in on Google.
From there I was introduced to affiliate marketing. Maybe I should just say affiliate programs because I had absolutely no idea how to market. I started buying affiliate programs through my own affiliate links and earning profits off of myself. Then one day I had a breakthough…. I decided to try Google AdWords and actually sold a clickbank product in 12 minutes after activating my ad! The bad thing was, I didn’t understand AdWords and spent 75 dollars in clicks and only received a$35 dollar commission
My first true breakthrough online was with Ebay. I actually wrote a word document on making money online and put it on ebay and actually sold this material for $75 several times! I was extremely excited, the only downfall was that I placed it in the wrong category and Ebay took it down. For some reason I lost interest and move on to the next thing…
I decided to take a break from the whole internet scene because it was so technical, so I ended up getting introduced to Network Marketing. I came to find that networking had actually helped me become a better person and I got really deep into reading books about personal development. I think the first book I ever read was Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill.
I struggled to find reps for my business and eventually moved on to another business thinking things would be different there but it was all the same. I got tired of trying to convince my family and friends to listen to what I was doing so I decided to go back to the internet.
I guess after spending nearly 10 thousand dollars on books, videos, internet programs, etc… experience has been my best teacher. Now I receive over 100 visitors each day to my blog, am working with some of the top internet marketers and network marketers in the country, and am finally starting to see my dreams come to fruition.
My biggest advice for any of you who may be interested in working from home or making money online is that you have to remain consistent. On top of that you also have to TREAT YOUR BUSINESS LIKE A BUSINESS.
Millions of people start something new everyday and then they fail to follow through on that thing. My word of advice to anyone reading this today is for you to begin with the end in mind. Know what it is that you want to accomplish in your business. Knowing the reasons WHY you want to work from home, WHY you want more money, WHY you want to spend more time with your family, WHY you want to travel….
All of these things will keep you motivated and moving toward your goals when times get tough and you want to quit. If you don’t have a powerful reason why you’re working your business you’ll eventually give up and quit at the first sign of resistance.
Well that’s a little about me…
Thanks for reading about me and visiting my blog. Hopefully I’ll see you all at the top!
