So What Is Ringless Voicemail Broadcasting?

Quite simply, ringless voicemail broadcasting is a form of voice broadcasting, with a few twists. The first twist is that a ringless voicemail blast goes specifically to cell phones.

Ringless voicemail drops actually bypass the cell phone and drop directly into the voicemail box. With the phone never ringing at all, this is a rather non-invasive method of marketing.

This is a marketing strategy that when done correctly can be highly effective.

Ringless voicemail broadcasting is totally legal, but why?

The reason is because it is non-invasive.

It does not disturb the recipient, and it also does not add any unwanted charges to their cell phone bill.

Ringless Voicemail Drops vs Solo Ads

A lot of people who first get online looking to make money are usually introduced to solo ads at some point. So, how exactly does ringless voicemail marketing compare to solo ads?

You be the judge!

First things first, in order to have a successful advertising campaign you need to have targeted leads.

It doesn’t matter what your particular advertising method is, if you don’t have quality leads, your advertising will be dismal at best. (That means your ad campaign will stink!)

Solo Ads – The Pros

One of the major advantages of solo ads is that list owners usually know what their readers like.

Before I go any further, I want to explain to you what a solo ad is just in case you may be new to the term.

A solo ad, is usually sent out by a person or a publication that owns and operates a large email subscriber base. When someone purchases a solo ad from a solo ad vendor, what they’re really doing is purchasing the rights to send out a “solo” advertisement to the email subscriber base of the vendor..

So the vendor will email their subscriber base with only YOUR information. Hence, the “solo” ad.

Example: I have a few thousand people on my email list who receive my emails.

Joe Blow contacts me, then lets me know that he would like to purchase a solo ad.

A lot of solo ad vendors usually charge “per click.” Meaning, they are actually going to guarantee you a pre-determined amount of clicks to your website. (Clicks are not sign ups)

The average rate is about 0.40 to $1.00 per click.

So if you wanted to have 100 clicks to your website, you’d spend anywhere from $40 to $100 for that solo ad. That’s not a bad price to pay if your aim is to get people looking at your website, but…

Solo Ads – The Cons

There are literally thousands of solo ad vendors out there – many of which are extremely SHADY – so you have to be very careful who you’re dealing with.

Bad Traffic

Another disadvantage of solo ads is that sometimes vendors will send you bad traffic. I won’t go into great detail, but a solo ad vendor could easily use something known as a “traffic exchange” to send your traffic.

In the event your vendor was to do something like that you would almost be guaranteed to lose money. So the best thing to do if you chose to go the way of solo ads – is find referrals who can vouch for them!

Ringless Voicemail Marketing As An Alternative

Unlike solo ads, ringless voicemail is not as expensive to reach your intended target. Also, another key thing that separates ringless voicemail from solo ads is that they are received almost immediately.

You can send out a ringless voicemail drop from $0.10 to $0.15 per drop. So that means, if you wanted to send out a ringless voicemail blast to 1000 people. You’d wind up paying $100 to $150 versus paying $400 to $1000 for a solo ad.

Not only is it inexpensive, but it’s also a rather new method of advertising. Not very many people are using this type of marketing right now, so if you can get in in front of the wave, you could make a nice living simply sharing this with other marketers.
