this is interesting , we seem to be crossing paths mr mitchell. (somewhat) ..lol... anyway , internet marketing is more effective than offline marketing hands down. This is not to mean that offline promotion efforts dont work and dont bring any rusults.

But....... If you properly execute SEO and keyword analysis and dominate google for the search terms related to whatever it is you are promoting you should be able to get better results than any form of offline marketing. here's why .

1. online marketing is trackable. you can instantly see you results, and make instant changes if need be to your campaign.

2. If someone finds you or your product or services online . It is because they were already looking for them by using google. The conversion rate will be very higher because the traffic is "targeted". meaning - these people did a search in google , that brought them to you. which obviously means they are interested in what you are offering!

3. your offline efforts can only be go so far (geographically). Online marketing strategies reach the whole world. Even if you are promoting a "local" business you have to consider that 80% of consumers look online before deciding who to get services from in their city. So if you or your business are not online then you will be losing money to people who are.

In conclusion

If offline marketing is done properly im certain that you can see some success. With that said, offline marketing should be done together with online marketing to maximize results. But the majority of money and efforts used for marketing should be online.
