Sitting here in my office looking around at the THOUSANDS of dollars worth of personal development material that I’ve spent money on. Books, Cd’s, DVD’s… etc.

It’s funny because most of the stuff I have read or listened to, but very little of it have I actually APPLIED on a consistent basis. So now, instead of leaving it all in it’s little storage space, I pulled it all out.

Whoever said knowledge is power was on the right track, but their definition was a little bit off…

Because I know all kinds of ‘knowledgeable’ people who are NOT powerful in any sense of the word.

Why?

Because they don’t use what they know. (Sound familiar?)

I bet it does… because we all do it.

All I know is I want 2014 to be the best year of my life. And if I expect that to happen I know ahead of time that I can’t continue living my life the way I did in 2013 and prior.

The only difference between the haves and the have nots is that people who don’t have what they want say “I’ll try”, “I might”, “hopefully”, “I hope”…etc.

Successful people say “I can”, “I will”, “I am”, and “I MUST”…

A simple little shift in your philosophy and your vocabulary could mean the difference between success and failure.
