Thanks for taking a quick minute to read this article.

If you’ve been online for a while then I’m sure that you’ve noticed that some people love to show off their proof pics when they make a sale in their business.

That’s what I want to talk to you about today. 12346392_1107257402631596_5848201634029894926_n

You see, just because you have proof pics doesn’t mean that people will want to join you.

Anybody can show proof, but can you show proof of the support that you offer to your team?

Because that’s what people “really” want to know.

They want to know if you are going to be a good sponsor. They want to know if you have training and support. And they want to know if you care about their success AFTER they’ve put their money into your hands.

Money Doesn’t Make You A Leader

What’s funny to me is that online anyone who makes money gets called a “leader”.

Unfortunately, this is anything but the truth. You see, just because someone is making money doesn’t mean that they are capable of leading others.

Heck, a lot of people on the internet don’t even want to lead others. They’d rather you give them your money to join the business and that you go on and figure out how to build the business on your own.

One thing that I’ve learned in my 16+ years in home based business and internet marketing is this – the more someone makes, the less likely they are to help you. That’s a fact!

Getting Their Attention

As a marketer, your first and foremost goal is to first gain people’s attention!

So I can understand why a lot of people like to show proof pics and money pics (sometimes not their own…lol) in order to get people’s attention.

Nobody will ever join your business if they don’t even know that it exists.

However, people are smarter in 2016 than ever before. Back in 2004 you could make a killing sharing proof/money pics to get people to join your biz opps. But nowadays, people want to know that you bring value to the table.

So what is a good way to increase your value so that people are interested in doing business with you?

The first thing that comes to mind is Personal Development.

Spending a few minutes each day reading 10 or more pages of a good book. Watching a few minutes of some type of video that helps you learn something new that you can then go out and teach to others…. and sometimes even listening to some type of audio.

Doing these things daily on a consistent basis will increase your value in the marketplace exponentially.

And as you develop more value, more people will likely be willing to join your business.

Working from home is very gratifying and can be extremely exciting, but it is not get rich quick. And for those who seemingly do get involved in a business and make it to the top of the compensation plan unusually fast. They usually have years of experience and personal development that you probably know nothing about.

So the next time you’re tempted to join someone in their business based off of their money pics, etc. Make sure to ask them what else it is that they bring to the table.
