Hey Folks,

It’s been quite some time since I’ve actually written on my blog. Hell it’s been a long time since I actually got anything done on my computer in general. I could use the excuse that I have school, I have two infants ages 1 and 2 years old, I have to go to work, or a bunch of other excuses but in the end if I used any of those it would just be bullshit.

Quite frankly, the reason that I’ve failed to get anything done lately is from a complete and total loss of focus. I know that I could make excuses but I feel like making excuses just takes away from what you really want to be doing and makes it even less likely that you’ll end up getting that thing done.

If you are reading this then I’m sure that many of you are already looking to make money online. If that’s you then I’d imagine that more than likely you are probably just getting started. Or maybe you’ve been at it for awhile but just can’t seem to figure out how to make it all come together.

Trust me when I tell you I know the feeling. I’ve been online for a long time and it took me years before I ever made any money. Even today I am still struggling to take it to the 5 figure a month level but I’m working on it. One of the things that I’ve started investing time in is learning how to make money offline. How To Balance Your Personal Life From Business

Now I know we all have our priorities, whether those be work, children, church, exercise, etc. There are so many things that we have to get done but there are only so many hours in the day.

If you ever plan to find any type of success in whatever sort of business venture that you are in then it’s imperative that you develop a schedule to do your work and stick to that schedule religiously.

Another thing that you can do that will take some of the stress off of you is to start writing down what you want to get done for the next day on the night before.

Just writing down your goals in general is a phenomenal way of staying on track with whatever it is that you need to get done.

Make a Decision

No matter what you plan to do you have to decide that you are going to be successful. That’s literally all it takes is for us to make a decision that we are going to do what we tell ourselves we will do no matter what.

One of the most difficult obstacles to getting things accomplished is trying to get things done when you have young children. If you are fortunate enough to have a significant other living in the home with you then you have to have a talk with that person and let them know that you have scheduled an allotted amount of time each day to working on your goals, and that you are under no circumstances to be disturbed.

Sometimes that may be a little bit difficult to do, but you have to make a decision and determine how badly do you want to be successful.

Every networker has dreams of becoming one of the top mlm earners in the world… You know… going on vacation for six weeks and coming home to a mailbox stuffed with commission checks. Or maybe going to your job and telling your boss that you just can’t fit him into your schedule anymore.

For some it might just be hitting your first 5 figure month… who knows? All of that is actually irrelevant if you can’t visualize yourself as one of those same people, a top earner. Online MLM Success Tip of the day…

Learning To Avoid Distractions

So you woke up early this morning and the sun was shining bright through your bedroom window. You decide that today you’ll do a little work on your laptop to break the monotony of working at your desk.  So once you get all freshened up and ready to go you sit down on the couch in the living room.

But before you get started you have to turn on the television, (this way you might be inspired by a good idea) so you can keep your mind open to anything that you might like to write about. Well after you’ve found a nice rhythm you decide, “I better check my e-mail to make sure nobody wants to join my team”.

Now that you’ve spent 20 minutes going over your e-mails… You noticed in one of your e-mails that someone commented on your inspirational comment you posted on Facebook. So you head on over to Facebook to take a look at what they commented on. While you’re there, you notice the photo of a long lost friend from grade school. Afterwards, you noticed a few other friends when you got to the first friend’s profile… Before you know it you’ve spent the last hour and a half on Facebook. (With absolutely nothing accomplished!)

Okay so now that you’ve realized you’ve wasted a large majority of your morning, you take a one our break and write down some goals for the afternoon. Okay the hour has passed, you grab your laptop log back in and decide that you’re going to write a few articles for your business.

After you you get into the flow of writing, down comes your wife and your 1 year old son from upstairs. Your wife says she needs you to watch your son (or daughter) for about 20 minutes while she runs to the grocery store. 1 hour and 15 minutes later she returns from the grocery store and she needs you to help her unload the groceries. You did manage to get in about 20 minutes of writing after you fed the baby and put him to sleep for a cat nap.

So now your wife starts to cook lunch and guess who wakes up just as soon as you reach for your laptop to complete the first of 3 articles you’d promised yourself to write? That’s right, it’s your little bundle of joy! So you decide that you’ll hold off on your articles until who knows when right?

I’d imagine by now that you are starting to get the point. This may not be your particular scenario, but things like this are going on in millions of homes everyday while disgruntled mlm reps and trying to find time to get some type of work done. (Especially if they market online)

1.) Write your goals for the day the night before…

The thing is, if you plan on getting things done and you live with others and have children especially… You MUST have a workplan. You no doubt need to have your daily plan in writing the night before. This will save you a minimum of at least 1 to 2 hours each day by simply having your “to do list” written out the night before so when you wake up you can get right down to business.

2.) Turn off all electrical devices…

While iPhones and Blackberries are cool… They are more of a distraction when you are working to get things done. Regardless of whether you market online or offline, if you are not prospecting (which you should spend 80% of your time doing) you do not need to have your phone on. Also, leave the television off while you concentrate on completing your goals you’ve set for the day. Nothing can distract a person from accomplishing their online tasks quicker than ‘the boob tube’. So keep that in mind….

3.) Work in the same place everyday…

If you don’t have an office in your home that’s fine… Just find yourself somewhere that you determine as your workspace and stick to it… It would be best to have an area where you can at least shut the door to prevent people from walking in on you while you’re working.

Get a sign to put up on your office door to alert your family that you are busy at work. Communicate with your family and let them know that it is unacceptable for them to walk in on you while that sign is on the door except for in the case of emergency. If you want to make your business a million dollar business you have to treat it that way. If you do not prove that your business is important to you and not just a hobby, your family will not respect what you do or your time.

So that’s it…. just implementing these 3 key steps into your daily routine should drastically improve your mlm success online. In order to be productive in your business you’re going to have to learn how to avoid distractions and how to implement key mlm secrets not known by many traditonal networkers .
