With today being the first of the month and all I decided that today was a good day to talk about the goals the we set for ourselves. Funny thing about setting goals is that if you don’t have a deadline attached to them they aren’t really much of a goal at all.

Many people today go about their everyday lives sort of just drifting through life and waiting to see what will happen to them. They don’t have any definite goals or purpose in life other than to live for the day. While for some that may be okay, I’m pretty confident when I say that 99% of people really don’t want to live this way.

The sad and unfortunate fact of life is that if we do not set goals then we more than likely will NEVER hit them. If you were to hop on a ship and tell the captain of the ship that after he leaves the dock you just want him to let the water take the ship whichever direction the water decides and to never touch the steering wheel – more than likely you will crash into something. It’s really just a matter of time.

In order to get to where you want to go you have to keep your hands on the steering wheel don’t you? If you let your hands off the steering wheel of life (or a vehicle) for just a few seconds you have a very high potential of crashing. That’s the same way it is in life. If you want to get somewhere you must keep your hands on the steering wheel. (Or in this case stay focused on your goal.)

People that do not set goals for themselves are moving through life sort of like someone who plays a game of darts with a blindfold on. Every now and then you may get lucky and hit the board, but more often than not you consistently coming up short of the mark and can’t pinpoint why that is.

Everyday when we wake up we should already know exactly where it is that we want to go, and we should have the route mapped out on how to get there. If you don’t have the direct route to get where you need to go, then at least find out which direction you have to move in and take action!

As human beings it is imperative that we are constantly moving forward. We must at all times be working towards achieving and attaining a specific goal of some sort, because the moment that we no longer have anything to live for is the moment that we begin to die.

Lots of people have dreams and goals but they never commit to them by putting them in writing. If you never put your goal in writing that means that the only time you’ll think about your goal is whenever it crosses your mind. What you really need is to be in front of your goal each and everyday.

It’s important that you create a burning desire within yourself that you are going to accomplish your goal no matter what obstacles may be in your way. Until you have developed this kind of mindset it will be difficult to accomplish your most important goals.

If you have big dreams and goals but you have no idea how you are going to achieve them you have to find a vehicle that can take you from where you are to where it is that you wish to be. Until you have done so it will be painful every time that you think of your goal and remember that you have absolutely no plan on how you are going to achieve it.

So if you have a big dream the first thing you need to do is write down your dream/goal. Put it on paper and look at it everyday. The next thing you need to do is determine the deadline by when you want to attain or accomplish your particular dream/goal. Once you have a deadline in place you need to figure out how to achieve your dream.

After you have those 3 elements in place the only thing left for you to do is to take action. You must also know that there will be many roadblocks along the way, so your attitude will also be a major factor in how well you do while pursuing your goals. Just remember that the most successful people in life make the most mistakes. Never be afraid to make mistakes or to fail. The people who are afraid to fail are the people who don’t ever do anything at all.

A synonym for the word cowardice is conformity. People who conform to the norms in life and do what everybody else are doing are some of the most unsuccessful and miserable people you can find. Always be looking for something more, learn to embrace change, and take consistent action and you will look back a few years from now and wonder how you got to where you are so quickly!

With today being the first of August and all I figured that I would talk about the power of doing things right now. I was recently on a training call with my mentor and he mentioned that the longer it takes us to do something we know we should do, the harder it becomes for us to do it.

If you think for a moment about what I just said, I’m sure that you can think of something that you’ve been putting off for so long now that you aren’t even sure if you have the will power to do it anymore. (Sound familiar?)

The reason I know for certain that you have been through this particular situation is because you are a human being. And as far as I can remember the last time I checked I was one too.  (insert smiley face here!)

Anyways, the majority of the time in life, the fear that we feel preventing us from taking the action we know we should take is the wrong kind of…. FEAR: False Expectations Appearing Real

Have you ever noticed that most of the bad stuff that you think is going to happen to you never does? Like when you get caught in a storm and you’re afraid that you are going to be struck by lightning. (Read Facing Your Fears) Or when you are driving on a dark road and you just have this weird feeling like a deer is going to run out into the road. These things, just like the things that prevent you from taking your life to the next level and living your dreams – probably will never happen.

Let’s say that you have a business opportunity that has the potential to change people’s lives, but you are afraid to talk to people because you aren’t sure what they are going to think or say. Who gives a shit!!!! If they wouldn’t cry at your funeral why should you give a damn? The only thing that you need to do is what you know is necessary in order for you to take your life from where it is currently to where you want it to be in the future.

In order for you to take your life to the next level you have to get off of the bullshit excuses of “I’ll do it later” or “I’ll do it tomorrow”. The people in life who really get things done do it NOW! Why put off to tomorrow what you can do today? That’s just stupid. If you really want something you have to go after it NOW,with a sense of urgency or the moment can and will pass you by.

I would like to apologize to anyone who I may have offended but sometimes you have to use extreme language to get people to truly listen. My goal is bigger than pissing off a couple people with profanity, I’m actually trying to get a message across! Besides, I’m not just writing this for you… I’m writing this for myself as well. You see, I had to force myself just to sit down and write the words you’re reading this very moment. The reason being – I DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT!!!

Yet I did it anyway. If you want to be like some of the people you look up to in life, master the art of doing things when you don’t feel like doing them. If you can overcome the opportunity to put things off and make excuses you will breeze right by 95% of all your competition in whatever field you choose.

So my friend, my wish for you is that if you got anything out of this you will find at least 1 thing that you know you should be doing and do it right now! You’ll feel a lot better when you do.

I recently found this video on YouTube and was actually so intrigued by it that I thought it would actually be best to post it online. My hope for posting this is that if just one person (hopefully you) gets the same impact that I did from this message then it will be well worth it.

In terms of MLM Training, I felt that this video was possibly the best explanation of what your MLM Business could grow into over a short amount of time. Of course if you’ve spent any amount of time in Network Marketing then you know that you will be all on your own when you first get started.

You’ll be just like the shirtless guy in the video below. However, once you show that you are not afraid of what other people think, and that you are having fun doing what you’re doing – other people WILL follow!

The true test is to find out if you are the type of person who is willing to dance all alone until you’ve impacted someone else strongly enough where they feel compelled to follow you?

As soon as you get your first person to follow you, you have now turned into a leader. If you do this properly then you can have the same effect in your MLM Business as what you see in the video below.

Tonight I was on a webinar about how to make a bunch of money online and the guest speaker for this particular webinar was none other than Mark Hoverson!

Now if you don’t know much about Mark Hoverson – but you want to learn how to make 8 figure income all from the internet – go here right now!

So anyways, I was on the call and Mark was talking about how simple it is for anyone online to create their own “Caffeine Product” which is simply just an information product that you sell from $50-500$ online that teaches other people what you know.

Now I know that right now the whole “Caffeine Product” idea is probably not making too much sense to you and that’s okay. You just need to follow with me as we move forward because I’m going to discuss a concept that Mark Hoverson discussed on the webinar that made a LOT of sense to me.

The Law of The Umbrella

So on the call Mark discussed a principle that he called ‘the law of the  umbrella’. I was actually captivated by the simplicity of what he was saying, while at the same time thinking about how very true it was as well.

Simply put, the law of the umbrella is that once a person develops a certain level of expertise, experience, or wisdom in something – whether it be internet marketing, how to lift weights and grow your muscles fast, or how to make a stupidly ridiculous amount of money online – that person now has knowledge, wisdom, and expertise that they can use to service and empower everyone else who is under their umbrella – or not on the same level.

Now going back to creating “Caffeine Products” for a moment. Mark said on the call that a person who has had very little success and made little to no money online could actually create their own product and sell it for $197 or more!

To most that would seem unrealistic, but to some – that makes all the sense in the world. The catch is… you just have to know how to do it. He mentioned that if a person had done as much as generated just 5 leads online in a week, that this person could sell a $197 information product on how to generate leads.

When I First Got Started Online…

This is a very funny story actually, but true indeed. Prior to ever hearing of any of the ‘gurus’ who you hear about on the internet today. I was online trying to learn how to make money in the late 90′s and early 2000′s. I purchased thousands and probably more like tens of thousands of dollars worth of E-Books and courses that I really couldn’t figure out.

My first experience with Pay-Per-Click I actually made my first sale within 10 minutes of posting my ad on Google AdWords. So I logged in to Clickbank and saw that I had earned a $39 commission on the sale that I had just made and I was jacked up! Next, I logged in to Google AdWords to find out I had been charged $75 for the 4 or 5 clicks that had led up to that sale.

So in essence, I paid $15 per click to my ad that made the $39 commission. But after 5 clicks, I owed Google $75 – so I was actually in debt for $36 from my first sale I ever made. I never tried PPC again for years.

The point that I want to make is that I was hungry, and I was also determined to figure this internet thing out. I started selling things on Ebay for a while and was making good money. Until my dropshipper stopped shipping things out on time that is. Then one day I had an ingenius idea. I was going to sell my own “Caffeine Product” on Ebay for $75 dollars.

The funny thing though, is that back then I had never even heard of a “Caffeine Product”, I just did what I thought would make me some money. It literally took me every bit of 45 minutes to write this e-book. (THAT WAS STILL IN A WORD DOCUMENT WHEN I SOLD IT!) And I placed it on Ebay (deliberately in the wrong category for more traffic) and I actually sold two of them in a few days before Ebay found my product was not relevant to the category and pulled it down.

But the key here is this – I HAD FOLLOWED THE LAW OF THE UMBRELLA AND DIDN’T EVEN KNOW IT! I had the intuition to know that there were hundreds of thousands and even millions of people out there who were willing to pay for what I already knew! So the moral to this story is that if you have ANYTHING that you know how to do, that you think other people would be willing to pay to learn. Then you can create your own “Caffeine Product” and make anywhere from $197 to $497 or more each time you sell one.

In Closing

We all have talents and strengths that we could use to service others. If you have a talent or a strength that someone else does not possess then they are undoubtedly under your umbrella. As an entrepreneur, we have to take advantage of the opportunities to make money by servicing others. And there is no better way to do it than by selling information.

You can literally write an E-Book about something you know how to do for 100% free. And if there is value inside you could potentially make a fortune for a product that had absolutely no overhead!

My friends, I want you to know that the potential on the internet to make money is limited only by your imagination. Find someone online who has what you want, and do what they do. Study successful people and you have an incredible chance of becoming successful in your own life!

Will You Die For What You Believe In?

Recently I was listening to a conference call by an extremely successful man in my primary business. I actually wasn’t going to listen to the call that night because I had found myself out with some friends and had a ‘couple-few’ beers.

Well anyhow, I decided to get on and I am so glad that I did… because that call changed the way I look at what’s possible in life.

One of the most powerful things that I took from this conference call was that we MUST make it our DUTY to succeed. When a man or a woman starts a business for 500k – 1 Million dollars, they automatically make it their DUTY to do whatever is necessary for them to make that business a success.

Can you imagine starting a business for a million dollars and not going to the trainings on Saturday mornings because you had a headache – or your car burns too much gas? Of course not! When you invest in a business for 1 million dollars you are going to do EVERYTHING that you are taught to do in order to make a return on your investment.

Unfortunately, with a network marketing business opportunity the cost to get started is so low that the average person does not treat the business with the same respect necessary to succeed. (When in all actuality you can make much more in network marketing than you can with a franchise.)

My point is this – in our industry we get paid for two things and two things only. Getting customers, and finding other people who also want to get customers. That’s it! How much more simply could it be to make 5 figures a month?

Most people give up in network marketing because they don’t fully understand it, they think it’s going to be easy, and they don’t know how to do what must be done effectively. First off, I don’t fully understand Christianity – but that does not give me the right to say that it is not real.

Also, I’m sure you’ve heard that nothing in life worth having comes easy. So why would the opportunity to earn an unlimited income, have what most people will never have, and the ability to use your time as you please whenever you want to come easy?

People need to wake up and understand that if you want to have something significant in this world that you have to be willing to die for it so to speak. You may not necessarily have to die in the physical sense of the word, but you must be willing to die for it.

The longer that we wait to do the thing we know we should do, the harder it becomes to do that thing. Life is short, now is the time! If you want to be successful in your network marketing business then you have to make the decision that you are burning any bridges behind you and the only way to move is forward.

When you decide that you will die to find the success you seek in life it will be virtually impossible for you not to succeed!

Can Magnetic Sponsoring Help Your Business?

Hey Friends,

While I sit here enjoying some unhealthy grape soda and listening to my son in the distant background singing a Sesame Street song so loudly that I’m partially in question if he may someday need Ritalin…

A thought emerged tonight in my mind about the whole magnetic sponsoring craze and the principle behind it. If you are not familiar with the term, then you more than likely will not be familiar with the concept either.

The concept of magnetic sponsoring was created in relation to the Network Marketing industry to explain the concept of how Attraction Marketing works. To put in laymen’s terms, attraction marketing is simply the concept of getting prospects interested in contacting and asking to join YOU in your business – Not you chasing them and begging them to join your opportunity.

So now that you have a better understanding of what Magnetic Sponsoring is, I want to tell you my opinion of what I considered it to be the first time that I read it…. BULLSHIT!

Now I apologize if I’ve offended you with my ‘cuss word’ but at the time of this writing I was still struggling with sin and had not yet conquered the occasional ‘cuss word’ from time to time. Fortunately for you, (if you are still here) I will not drop another BS bomb on you for the duration of this post so you are safe now. (I have also already asked God for forgiveness – so don’t judge me…)

Now as I was saying… I thought that the book was a bunch of crap – Simply a bunch of hype, set between 40-50 pages of triple spaced, large fonted fluff. I felt like the concepts that were being spoken about just didn’t make sense. (Remember I said this was the first time I read it)

Despite my impregnable opinion, I decided not to tape a picture of Mike Dillard to my Magnetic Sponsoring book and throw darts at it for recreation. Instead, I left it to collect at least 2 years of dust on the bookshelf with all of the other “useless” books I’ve purchased over the last 4 to 5 years on personal development.

Two years or so after first buying the book….

I continue to seek out ways to make money in network marketing as well as online. Eventually I get exposed to a company called MyLeadSystemPro – Unfortunately this too I pushed to the side for as long as I possibly could, but it wouldn’t last long.

Fast forward to 2008-2009 – During this time I started noticing more and more people promoting a “system” that will help you build your network marketing business. I also started noticing that while these were different people they were all using similar websites  to promote themselves. What I came to find was that all of these people CONSTANTLY were referring to the attraction marketing concept and the 7 Day Bootcamp.

They all continuously said how Mike Dillard is the father of attraction marketing and how if you have not read the book Magnetic Sponsoring that you’re doing yourself a disservice. Having already read the book and not being satisfied with the content, I listened for quite some time – BUT – I did not hear what all of these successful marketers were trying to tell me.

At some point I read the book again a second time, now while the second time around I did not really get anything out of it then either, I started to truly believe that there had to be something in that book that I was missing. I mean literally every single 6 figure earner I know of online has said at least once that you need to read that book.

So I finally read Magnetic Sponsoring a third time

Oddly enough, on my third time reading the book I’d been online for a few years and had learned a lot of new things that I at first didn’t understand. The book seemingly had an entirely different message this time around. This time after learning more about the industry the book did not seem to have quite so many “esoteric” terms inside.

I finally started to grasp what was being said and it has had a major impact on the way I market my businesses online, how I promote myself while marketing, and also my mindset as well.

Final conclusion on Magnetic Sponsoring

At this point, I too am an avid believer in the book and the teachings of Mike Dillard. I’m glad that I invested in myself to learn the strategies that can catapult me from where I am to where I want to be in my network marketing business as well as online.

So if you have never read the book I truly urge you to get your hands on it and absorb the information like a sponge. It may take you a few times to “get it” like it did for me. But once you do, you will start to see a huge difference in how you go about building your network marketing business, and you’ll also go from an attitude of lack and desperation to an attitude of abundance.

After a nice hiatus from writing on my blog I’m back with a message that I think is of the highest importance. First off, let me ask you this… Have you ever thought about doing something, maybe approaching that guy or girl who caught your eye, or maybe going skydiving (not me!), or just something that you know you really wanted? Then all of a sudden, you found yourself feeling overwhelmed with every possible thought of what might go wrong.

What ultimately happened is that you talked yourself right out of doing what you wanted because of your FEAR that it might not work in your favor. It’s sad but true that most of us do this, the sad part is that many of us do this for our entire lives and die with a life full of broken dreams and regrets. I don’t know about you, but I’d feel a lot better getting turned down by that girl than to wonder ‘what if” for the rest of my life simply because I was too chicken to go and ask her out.

This is the way it is on all 7 continents… People with hopes and dreams that get shoved in the closets of their mind because their fears were stronger than their desires. I chose to speak on this topic today because I too have been in this situation. Especially those of us who are in a network marketing business opportunity. How many times have you seen a sharp looking guy or gal who you know would kill this business but you just let them walk right past you.

The only way that we can truly overcome our fears and have power over them is to face them head on. I read a book called ‘Go For No’ that expands on this concept and I highly recommend it to any of you who run your own businesses, are in sales, or who simply want to learn how to overcome your fears. The easiest and most simple way to increase your success rate is to increase your rate of failure. If you don’t have this book you need to get it now from the link below!

Hello Friends!

After well over a month of procrastination of not posting any content on my blog. I’m back again… It’s currently 11:16pm in my timezone and I realized I only had 45 minutes left to pump out some content in order to stick to my New Years resolution of posting at a minimum of once a week.

So what I wanted to talk to you about today is having a vision for your life and where you want to go. With today being the first of the year I’m fairly certain that many of you have already broken your own resolutions. With that said, you may just not have a big enough reason why you chose that thing as your resolution.

Here’s an example… When I gave up smoking cigarettes I had a vision of myself on a breathing machine and dying young not being able to watch my children grow up. I also had a vision of myself in bad shape like my father. Many of the consequences that my father is going through right now in his life are a result of him not taking better care of himself in his younger years, and from a history of smoking.

So while this vision is not necessary the way a person typically envisions things for themselves, it is still an extremely powerful and compelling one to say the least. It was powerful enough that it helped give me the incentive to go ahead and make the “choice”<——– KEYWORD: to go ahead and make that change.

If you truly want something in your life you have to be able to see it (in your mind). Now sometimes you may have to see it from the other end of the spectrum like I did and view things from a negative perspective to push you forward to your goals. Here’s another example…

If you have kids I want you to visualize yourself and your children on welfare and living in the worst section of whatever town it is that you live. You have a roach infested apartment and your kids literally have roaches crawling all over them at any given moment of the day.

Not only that, but you also have drug dealing and gun violence in your neighborhood on a daily basis. You’ve even had bullets fly through your window on several occasions nearly striking one of your little ones. Does that vision give you some  incentive or motivation to get off your ass and do what you need to do in order to provide a better life not only for yourself but for your children most importantly? You’re damn right it does!

So my point here is that if living in a mansion and traveling to exotic places whenever you like isn’t enough to get you up out of bed in the morning. Maybe you need to rearrange your vision and think of something a little more extreme. Think of something you don’t want as your motivation to stay away from what you don’t want instead.

Regardless of what you do, all human beings have the same primary function which is to move toward pleasure and stay as far away from pain as possible. So next time think about how painful it might be if you don’t do something to change your circumstances instead of being like the 95% of people out there who are afraid to try something new.
