Did Rhandell Mitchell Really Join Visalus?

The answer to that question is absolutely! I think that if you knew what I know that you would have already joined too. The very first thing that attracted me to the company was the fact that the product really works.

For the rest of this article I’m going to be giving 7 reasons why I felt that it would be beneficial for me to join Visalus Sciences. It’s actually pretty funny because in July of 2011 I wrote a Visalus Review, but at that time I had zero interest for my own reasons.

Well I guess we better get into…

My Top 5 Reasons For Joining Visalus

#1. The Product Really Works

I’m sure that if you have a facebook account that you’ve seen at least one of your friends talking about “the challenge“.

In the rare case that you have not the Body By Vi Challenge, it is a 90 day transformation designed to improve your health, help you lose weight, and get fit all at the same time. The best part of the challenge is that it is very simple. Not only that, but it is also fun and it saves you money.

#2. I Was Already Spending 100 A Month On Protein Shakes

This alone was reason for me to at least give it a shot. I mean here lately I have been very conscious about my health since I’m getting older and I wanted to eliminate some of the junk out of my diet. Prior to joining The Challenge I had been taking a meal replacement shake from GNC.

#3. It Tastes Really Good

I wasn’t really sure if I should use this for number 3 or not, but since taste is such an important factor to so many people I thought that I would include it. Another thing that is really cool about the Body By Vi Shake is that after you drink it you will be exceptionally full. I originally ordered a sample by one of my upline mentors 5 Star Ambassador Rachel Jackson, after I drank the shake and tasted how good it was (with just plain water – nothing else) and how full I got, I knew that the product was ‘real’.

This one here is a doozy… I have learned in my time spent in the network marketing industry that not only should you have passion about the company and the products, but the compensation plan is to many the most important element to joining a company. There are 8 ways to earn income in the company’s comp plan and they are all exciting.

Another thing that got me excited about the compensation plan was that it seemed very very fair. It was especially fair compared to some of the other compensation plans that I’ve seen in the past. Before I get a bunch of hate mail for dissing old school network marketing let me finish. The old school way of networking will always be the most easily duplicated method of building a business that can be duplicated over and over without a large learning curve. However, with technological advances moving as quickly as they are the last thing you want to do is be held back when you could be doing more.

This one is really self-explanatory. However should you do your research you would know that this statement is 110% authentic. I mean with over 100,000 people last month joining the 90 day challenge how much more proof would you really need right?

The company is not only seeing record growth on a monthly basis, in over 40 countries around the world, and offering a global opportunity with one of the highest payouts in the industry. They are also giving back. The 4Life Research team is also giving back to the communities in which they do business.

The company started it’s own non-profit organization dedicated to charitable work called Foundation 4Life. Now as I mentioned, this organization has gathered together to conduct charity work anywhere that representatives get together to conduct business.

They provided on the ground support for families that were involved in the September 11th attacks in 2001, natural disaster relief around the globe, and even in Casa Rosada which is a hospital in the Dominican Republic, which houses and takes care of HIV Positive children in the area who have no way of getting care.

My final thoughts on 4Life Research

After executing a thorough background check of the 4Life Research opportunity, I concluded that the company is without a doubt a good company to join. They also show to have good growth going on (seeing that their company conventions pack stadiums).

One thing that I really admired about the opportunity is that they actually give back. There are a lot of established MLM’s out there that I have never heard of donating one dime to any cause. 4Life members have openly dedicated not only their money to different causes, but also their time. I commend them for that.

Now unfortunately, the truth of the matter is this – If you plan to be successful with this company you are going to have to learn some new skills. Like with any other company, I don’t care how good the product is, or how much good they are doing in the world. If you do not have the proper skills to build your network it simply will not grow…Period!

If you truly desire to build your business and take it to a whole new level, you are going to require learning how to get more people to talk to other than just your warm market. What is Jeunesse Global?

For anyone who may be doing their research on Jeunesse Global, the company focuses primarily on anti-aging and wellness. People (especially women) have been searching for ways to make themselves look younger for centuries, so some might say that Jeunesse Global could possibly be a Godsend – or is it?

The company is headquartered out of Florida in the United States and alleges that they have created over 15 millionaires. After looking over the website, I could not find any actual information as to when the company was founded and how long they’ve been in business. However, the company was a member of the DSA or Direct Selling Association so that is always a good thing.

The Jeunesse Global Products

At the time of this writing (August 2011), the corporate website for Jeunesse Global showed that they have 3 primary products.

• Luminesce -  Cellular Rejuvenation Serum – This is a skin care product in which works to restore luminosity, firmness, and smoothness of skin.
• Reserve – This product works on your overall health, delays premature aging, and also helps to improve your metabolism.
• Luminesce – Daily Moisturizing Complex – This product moisturizes the skin, fights against fine lines, and also plumps the skin.

The product line at Jeunesse Global seems to be legit, even though there are many other companies that have products which are similar to what is found at Jeunesse.

In terms of determining whether the products are what you are actually looking for, then you would have to actually try them for yourself. Being that the whole theme behind the company is staying young, there will be tens of thousands of people who would be at least willing to try the products in order to find the “fountain of youth”.

Does Jeunesse Global Have Lasting Power?

This question will ultimately depend on whether the products do what they say they can. The second factor will be whether or not the distributors for the company get out there and make it happen. If the company has already created 15 millionaires then I would naturally assume that there are some decent distributors in Jeunesse Global.

The ultimate thing for you as a Jeunesse Global distributor to know is that if you are going to build a humongous business you have to adapt with the times. Many people in MLM today think that the best way to build an MLM business is with the belly to belly approach. Now while this may be true to some extent, to totally write off using the internet to build your business is completely absurd (or stupid).

So with that said, if you want to build a humongous business utilizing old school methods only, good luck to you stupid (just kidding).

3 Ways to Get People To Take Action in Your MLM Business

1. If you want to get people to take action in your MLM Business you first have to become a master at creating value for your prospects and your team members. What I mean is that you have to create value for them to take action. If you are trying to get new reps into your business it would do you well to remember that people only move when they see value.

Therefore, if you want to get people on a conference call, webinar, or to a meeting at your home, you need to become a master at conveying the benefits for them actually taking a look. Telling someone that by simply taking a look at what you have to offer will give them an opportunity to change their lives for the better forever is a pretty strong benefit – if you convey the message in the right way.

2. Building off of number one, an awesome way to get people to take action is by generating curiosity. Curiosity is the very thing that moves people. Whatever it is that someone wants to know they should have to go to your presentation – conference call, webinar, hotel meeting, home meeting etc. If your prospect has questions DO NOT ANSWER them. Just tell them where they can go (your presentation) to get the information they desire to have.

3. Learn to create a fear of loss. People are motivated by one of two things – the pleasure they seek, or the pain they want to avoid. Of the two, pain is a much stronger motivator. If you can cause an individual to fear what they are going to miss or lose you can create pain. If you tell a person to be at a meeting by 9:45 because after 10:00 they can’t get in… they’ll associate pain to losing it. This is the same thing if you are doing a 3-way call with your upline. If you tell prospects that your upline is extremely busy and that they are very lucky to have gotten 5 minutes of his or her time they will listen more closely to what he or she has to say.

Ultimately you must get good at Taking Away whatever it is that somebody wants. You have to tell people that this event has never happened before and may never happen again and missing this event could cost them thousands and perhaps even millions of dollars.

By implementing these 3 strategies alone you will start to see a big difference in your recruiting numbers and the amount of people who are actually showing up for your presentations. These same strategies can also be applied towards getting your team members to attend events.

Want to Explode Your MLM Business?

Well I’m going to give you 6 vital functions that you should be doing know matter what mlm business you are in, and regardless of what your company sells.

These six vital functions are universal. I took the notes for these directly from Darren Hardy himself. So I’d say that they’re definitely worth listening to.

The 6 Vital Functions for Any MLM Opportunity

1. Use the products! – This one should actually be self-explanatory. However, you will always have people join for whatever stupid reason they will see an opportunity for themselves but hold absolutely no value for the products.

in this game if you don’t believe in the products you might as well just start looking for  new company because it’s only a matter of time. The minute that your eyes land on something that’s shinier and brighter than what it is that you currently have – GAME OVER.

If you are in a company right now that has a product that you know deep down you would not spend the amount of money on every month if you weren’t on autoship and trying to get qualified you should look at alternative options. It’s imperative that you use the products because that helps you when it’s time to…

2. Share the product – Obviously if you don’t use the product(s) then it’s going to be that much harder for you to share the products with others. People have a way of sensing the conviction of others when they are approached about something. If you have not used the products yourself and reaped the rewards of the benefits that product offers, then you won’t be able to communicate effectively to win over the masses when you share the product. (Unless your product is just all out awesome!)

3. Share the opportunity – Sharing the opportunity is just good business sense. I mean network marketing is all about building distribution teams which in turn build momentum and one day can grow without you. If you aren’t talking to anyone about your business you are not going to build a distribution team and you aren’t going to earn any type of substantial residual income.

This one seems like it should not have to be discussed but there are thousands of distributors in thousands of companies who probably talk to 1 person a month and wonder why they aren’t living the life of their dreams. You have to be realistic when you run an MLM Business and know that it is merely a numbers game that must be played if you anticipate on hitting the 5 figure a month level.

If you are apprehensive about sharing your business with others because you don’t know what to do or you are not quite show about how to approach people then I highly recommend that you take a look at these best kept sponsoring secrets if you want to develop into a sponsoring machine in your company.

4. Help others get started – After you’ve gone through steps 1 – 3 and done them effectively, eventually people will start joining your team. It is your responsibility as a sponsor to help others get started right. You also want to help them get started fast! The sooner you help a new business partner get a check, the higher your chances of keeping that person in the business.

I don’t think that very many would argue with me when I say that Your First Year in Network Marketing is probably the best book every written on Network Marketing in general, and also how to help your new partners understand the “Landmines” that are inevitable in this business. (Especially in your first year!)

5. Promote and attend events – In the MLM Business as well as in life, there is a HUGE difference between desire and motivation. Most people have a desire to make money and do this or that when they join a network marketing business. Unfortunately, most people cannot stay motivated long enough to see their desires through to fruition.

Attending events can help you to see your opportunity with a “set of new eyes” which helps to rekindle the flame that was there when you started, but may have dwindled down to just a spark. Also, there’s a saying in MLM that goes like this:

“When you’ve had a bad week you need the meeting – When you’ve had a good week then the meeting needs you!”

So now that we know what attending events can do for you, then you need to promote the events to all of the leaders on your team. When your new people get to something like an international event seen in the picture from my most recent company convention.

It’s only natural that they will become excited. And just as soon as they get excited is when your team will go into a momentum stage which is what every single one of us wants more than anything.

Depending on how large your company is, your international events could have anywhere from 5 to maybe even 30 thousand people in them. When you have 20+ thousand like-minded individuals all in the same place for the same cause it’s exciting!

After having an opportunity to see Donald Trump in real life, and hear his words of wisdom on how to excel in our MLM Business don’t you think your new partners would be excited?

I know I was extremely excited just being in that environment. It works, trust me!!

6. Personal Development – Last but not least we have personal development. If you are in an ethical mlm business then it should be more of a personal growth program with a compensation plan attached rather than just a business.

Our minds are similar to fertile soil in a garden. Whatever you put into it is what you will get out of it. If you watch lots of negativity on television, you probably have a lot of negative thoughts and may not even consciously know why they are there. In contrast, if you read and listen to lots of personal development then you probably have a more positive outlook on what’s possible in your life.

One of my favorite things to watch on personal development is this video on a previous blog post that I wrote. Also, I really like this youtube video by Les Brown called “You Gotta Be Hungry”. Outside of those two things I believe that my favorite personal development program of all time has to be Jim Rohn’s The Challenge to Succeed.

The thing with personal development is that it’s never done. You don’t just read a book and listen to a CD set and decide that now you are ready to take on the world. Personal Development is a lifelong process. The minute that we start to think that we know it all is when you will start to see a decline in your progess.

If you want people to join you in your MLM Business then there are a few things required of you as a leader in order to make that happen. We’re going to discuss these things in detail and hopefully make some sense of it for you.

The Top 5 Reasons People Won’t Join Your MLM Business

So you just started a new MLM Company and you’re looking for prospective partners to join you in your new venture. Unfortunately, it seems like the more people you contact the more people who aren’t joining. Heck, most of them won’t even look at your presentation!

So… you may be wondering, “what the hell do I have to do to get people to listen to me and watch a presentation?” Here’s what I would do:

1. Get out of your own way – Many times when a new distributor first gets started in their own MLM Business they’re so excited that they just want to go out and let the world know that they have a better way  to make money. Unfortunately, to many new distributors this to them means going and out telling as many people as possible everything there is to know about the business. This is a quick way to lose potential reps. Reason being – when you tell people everything there is to know about your opportunity, they judge it based off of what you’ve told them. Furthermore, if they already know everything what is the purpose of going to a meeting clear across town. In the words of an ill informed prospect…. “I’m not interested!”

My advice would be for you to let a seasoned veteran do the presenting for you until you start to build your own story. It doesn’t even really matter who the upline leader is who comes to do the presentation for you, as long as it’s not you! Learn how to properly edify your upline leader and get out of the way. They should be so excited to hear what your upline has to say that they forgot all about you when you’ve edified them properly!

2. Lack of excitement – This goes for both traditional network marketers as well as internet network marketers. If you recruit with more of an old school belly to belly approach then this most definitely pertains to you. If you go up to a friend and you use your regular speaking voice, show absolutely no conviction, and very little sense of urgency – don’t anticipate them coming to see a presentation, let alone joining your opportunity.

Also if you’re one of those people who says, “I’m just not really that type of person”. Then you better become that person or you’re toast! Period… If you want something that you’ve never had you’re going to have to do things you’ve never done and if you feel like you don’t know what to do then just ACT AS IF. Act as if you already are an awesome recruiter, act as if you are already a top income earner in your company, act as if you are the leader that every prospect is looking for.

It’s a little bit different online. Sometimes people may judge your credibility online by how professional your website looks, what type of grammar you use while you write on your blogs or sales pages, and if they think they can trust you. If you do video for example, it is 100 times as powerful when connecting with site visitors than the written word. If you decide to do videos then this is the perfect moment for your excitement to show through. There’s just something about someone who is excited about something that makes you want to be excited to… know what I mean?

3. Not talking to enough people – This is another reason that many distributors fail to get new reps into their MLM Business because they simply are not talking to enough people. There’s a gentleman in my primary company who had 37 people show up at his very first home meeting. To top it off, he had a top income earner fly all the way to his home to do the meeting. Out of the 37 people who came not a single person joined!

The average mlmer probably would have called it quits right then and there because most people can barely handle the rejection of one person. So consider being rejected by 37 people all at the same time! So instead of him hanging his head and deciding to settle for a J-O-B for the rest of his life he pushed on! He continued talking to people and more people, and more people. Now today he is earning multiple 5 figures per month, drives Bentley’s and other exotic cars, and basically living the life that most people wish for – but will NEVER have. All because he kept on talking to people and never gave up, no matter what type of ridicule he received or how many people said no.

4. Not following up with contacts – This one is also a biggie! I’ve heard story after story of someone who’s said that someone gave them a DVD or a magazine about their business and never followed back up with them. So after the person decides they want to join they can’t even get in contact with the rep who gave them the information! Can you believe that?!?! Well it happens all the time. Just make sure YOU are not the person that does something as foolish as this.

I heard a startling statistic one time about people who purchase leads. While I know that purchasing leads does work in our business, it’s not for the faint of heart. Nor is it for anyone who is on a tight budget. To find high quality leads you’re going to spend anywhere from 2 – 5 bucks per lead! I don’t know about you, but when I got started in this business that just wasn’t in the plans for me. However, the funny thing is that I heard that like 90% of people who purchase leads never call them at all!!! UN-B-FREEKIN-LIEVABLE…

Lots of internet marketers generate tons of leads for free with their marketing online and never call their leads back either. (And these leads were free!!!) Can you believe that? I’ve actually had people who have spoken to me on the phone and said that they opted in to this person’s website or that person’s website and that I was the only person who ever called them back! So if I haven’t made this clear enough for you guys and gals…. FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR STINKIN CONTACTS!!!!

5. Lack of credibility – As much as I hate to say it this happens all of the time. A good example of this is with internet marketing superstar Cedrick Harris (sorry to put you on blast Ced… but there’s a point to be made!) Cedrick Harris was a superstar recruiter in a certain MLM Business when the company first really started building momentum. I would guess that a large chunk of the distributors in the company to this day came as a ripple effect of Cedrick Harris.

Anyhow, one day Cedrick mentioned on a webinar or a conference call (I can’t remember which) that there had been a gentleman who tried to recruit him into this particular company several times but he never actually took a look at it. The reason that he wouldn’t look at the business is because the person that tried to show it to him had no reputation of success in the company and probably life in general. (Sorry if you’re that guy…)

So Cedrick decided that he was gonna go sponsor shopping and look for someone who was already making it happen so to speak. So due to the lack of credibility on the first guy’s part, he missed out on the income of well over a thousand reps who joined Cedrick’s team in the first 90 days of him joining!!!

So my point to you is this. If you aren’t credible right now – just start working on yourself. Every little bit of success that you acquire lends toward your credibility. Just read this!

If you can apply these five things into your action plan I can say with absolute certainty that you will start to see far greater results in your MLM Business!
